REGENERATION chiefs in Barrow-in-Furness have stressed that the North West Development Agency's (NWDA) withdrawal of funding support to many schemes across the region does not mean improvements in the town will stop.

In a statement Barrow Regeneration has set out its plans for several key development sites such as the 20-acre Waterfront Business Park, Barrow Marina Village, town centre improvements and housing market renewal.
