US-based company OMNOVA Solutions has sold its Muraspec wallpaper business to Manchester-based private equity firm a2e Venture Catalysts in a deal worth around £4.5m.Muraspec produces and distributes wallpaper to trade buyers in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.The Muraspec business has a design and distribution centre at Hemel Hempstead and a manufacturing plant in in Kent. It also has sales offices in Paris, Warsaw and Dubai.
