Mole Engineering (Wirral) has launched a new energy saving valve after securing a £100,000 funding line from Positive Cash Flow Finance.The CombiSave valve, which is produced in Cornwall, is a retro-fitted thermostatically operated valve that can save six litres of water and 200 watts of gas each time the user turns on the hot water tap. It works by measuring the temperature of the water and, if it is below 40 degrees, it slows the flow rate down to two litres per minute.
