SURFACE Transforms, the Ellesmere Port-based  maker of high-performance ceramic brake discs, has said that sales for the year to May 31 are likely to be over £1m - a 16% increase on 2011.The firm also said it had made progress on efforts to cut operating costs - particularly the cost of making its main carbon ceramic disc product.
