SUPERMARKET giant Tesco is buying 91% of WE7 to free-to-listen internet radio service led by Cheshire entrepreneur Steve Purdham.

Tesco is paying £10.8m for the stake in the loss-making Milton Keynes-based business co-founded by rock legend Peter Gabriel.It said the deal would offer customers "a wider choice in how they consume music, complementing Tesco's current music offer in store and online."
