Cropper looks to revive fortunes

PAPER and materials group James Cropper is looking to revive its fortunes after annual earnings and revenues fell during a challenging year.The Kendal-based company, which announced in April it would cut around 40 jobs in the UK - 8% of the workforce - in a cost cutting move said turnover in the year to the end of March had fallen from £83.3m to £78.2m as export sales were hit by the euro zone crisis.Ebitda was down from £4.7m to £3.9m, while bottom line profits, before a pension fund-related adjustment was ......for the full story register now for free or login below...
