Green energy: renewables offers jobs bonanza

THE renewable energy sector has the capacity to generate as many as 400,000 jobs by 2020, experts believe.Such exciting growth prospects will come as the UK dramatically reduces its use of carbon-producing energy and turns to renewables.According to the Renewable Energy Association, 600 companies involved in wind, tidal and solar energy already employ nearly 10,000 people in this region alone. H'mm, well note that it's the "Renewable Energy Association" that has done this "research." So it's very much in their interest to publish this sort of eye-catching "guesstimate." We should however bear in mind just how much "Renewables" economic activity is funded by-gigantic in the case of wind turbines-subsidies, paid by ordinary people and companies via their-grossly inflated, partially because of these subsidies-fuel bills. So "Treat with caution!"
