THE Government has announced plans to fully fund the Northern Hub scheme.Transport minister Justine Greening has this morning announced approval of £322m to fund the rest of the proposed track and capacity upgrades required for the Northern Hub , which is on top of the £477m of schemes already approved.The funding has been agreed as part of a £9bn package of support nationally for rail infrastructure improvements set to be made during the next control period from 2014-19.Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne ......for the full story register now for free or login below...
