CUMBRIAN firm Marl International, which produces LED systems for Formula 1 cars and nuclear power stations, has invested £250,000 in the launch of a new manufacturing division.

The Ulverston-based business has formed Marl Manufacturing, a division focused on electromechanical electronic assemblies for harsh environments including defence, heavy industry and other demanding applications.
