VICTREX, the polymer manufacturing group, today said it had seen sales volumes remain strong and it is in an "excellent financial position".

The company, based on the Fylde coast in Lancashire, said in an interim management statement covering the period from April 1 that sales volumes since its half year end had been 754 tonnes compared with 750 tonnes for the third quarter of last year.
