TWO companies are to be prosecuted following the death of a worker at a Stockport factory.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is taking legal action against WFEL and Unisign after Brian Miller was found with fatal head injuries at the WFEL plant on Crossley Road in Heaton Chapel on January 12, 2008.

The 38-year-old from Denton had been working on a machine, used to manufacture bridges for the military, when he became trapped.
