Mercury Recycling to raise £3m for iron mine exploration

MERCURY Recycling Group, the Trafford Park-based recycler of lighting tubes and street lamps, plans to raise £3m through a share placing to fund exploration work at an iron ore mine it is acquiring.
As TheBusinessDesk.com reported in March, the company is in the process of a reverse takeover that will see it buy iron ore mining rights from South African firm Sylvania Platinum for £13.7m.
