BUSINESS Secretary Vince Cable has praised the positive impact  businesses in Cumbria are having on the local economy. He visited the ‘Made in Cumbria’ store in Kendal as part of a regional tour to promote enterprise.Among the companies he met were Abbey Horn Gifts, which makes  souvenirs, and Hawkshead Relishes which produces a range of local relishes, chutneys and preserves.
