LIVERPOOL Community College has launched a Logistics Academy to provide training for the city’s growing ports and logistics sector.

The UK logistics sector is seen as a key area of growth for Liverpool, particularly with the Peel Group’s plans to create a Super Port for the city, which is expected to create 30,000 jobs. The sector employs around 193,400 people across the North West, more` than 6% of the region’s workforce.
