THE Designer Outlet at Cheshire Oaks has reported a near 40% surge in sales of sportswear on the back of the GB team's success in the Olympics.The 38% sales growth at Cheshire Oaks out-stripped that seen in other six UK centres operated by McArthurGlen, which saw a 23% uplift in sportswear brand sales during the first full week of the London Olympics.Brands such as Adidas - official kit supplier to Team GB - Nike, Reebok and Asics have performed particularly well, centre bosses said.Replica Team GB kit, retro 'Originals' tracksuits......for the full story register now for free or login below...






Cheshire Oaks (and indeed all out of town retail outlet centres) is, in my view, a ghastly, land-consuming, totally car-dependent, unsustainable piece of urban sprawl.
