Intrinsic invests in managed services product

AMBITIOUS IT services and cloud computing group Intrinsic Technology has invested more than £600,000 in a new product as it targets becoming a £100m turnover business.

The Haydock company, which has 130 staff and last year had sales
of £40.6m, has developed Fusion,  a managed services offering.

Intrinsic which counts retailers, NHS Trusts and local authorities among its clients, says the investment has been made in hiring new personnel and developing technical tools.

The Fusion platfrom monitors and maintains all aspects of customers’ IT infrastructure. It is suitable for SME and larger corporates and allows clients to outsource parts of their IT to Intrinsic. It can do anything from straightforward network monitoring to handling and hosting a complete IT environment.

Gregg Spooner, head of cloud and managed services at Intrinsic Technology, said: “We recognise that in order to grow as a business, we have to invest. These improvements will go a long way to helping us achieve out ambitious growth plans.

“Intrinsic’s ethos is built around service and support, so Fusion really is the cornerstone of the business.”
