THE English Cities Fund is putting its plans for the first part of the £650m Salford Central regeneration out to public consultation.Its proposals - for an area off Chapel Street adjacent to the Bell Tower pub - involve a block of six to three-storey apartments and retail units fronting onto Chapel Street. The pub will be kept and refurbished.The area sits between Chapel Street, Islington Way, Barrow Street and Wroe Street.
