Mediamix: WhichSocial, Vibe and Citrus Suite

MANCHESTER tech company WhichSocial.com has launched a new social media analysis platform for fashion retailers to measure and track their brand on Pinterest.

WhichSocial said it enables fashion brands to track sales through Pinterest, identify key influencers and evaluate marketing campaigns.

Retail brands can also follow the popularity of their competitors’ products.

The launch will be followed by analysis tools for Facebook and Twitter.

Managing director Avin Wong said: “The growth in the popularity of Pinterest has come as quite a surprise to retailers, many of which haven’t quite figured out how best to use the platform or integrate it into their overall sales and marketing strategy.

“We wanted to create an analysis tool that was simple for retailers to use but produced a level of insightful data that has previously been unseen in a social media monitoring tool. This unique set of information can easily be incorporated into marketing analysis and be used for future campaign planning as well.”

The Macclesfield firm was appointed with a brief to create a Facebook app to enhance consumer engagement and drive recruitment, based on the concept of realising dreams.

Travel Counsellors carried out a survey into ‘dream destination’ holidays, which revealed that of the 1,800 respondents, only 30% had actually had the opportunity to experience their dream trip.

LIVERPOOL-based digital agency Citrus Suite has seen an app it has designed for the iPad and iPhone rise to the top of the iTune charts.

The game ‘Mystery Seekers: The Secret of the Haunted Mansion’  has reached number one in the iPad games adventure category in UK, US and other countries.

It is published by Seattle-based gaming giant Big Fish Games.

Citrus Suite director Chris Morland said: “It’s been great going back to our roots and producing a game, especially after our recent work with eBooks.

“With a good idea and a relatively small investment there is no reason why an app produced in Liverpool can’t go global – Citrus Suite’s recent hits are living proof of that. We are delighted.”
