Recovery aids growth at Wilson Field

TURNAROUND and insolvency specialist Wilson Field is set for another record year after saving more than 1,200 jobs and 100 businesses over recent months.

Wilson Field provides complete business recovery, insolvency and personal debt services to businesses and individuals across the UK.

The organisation has offices in Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield, and has this year expanded into the West Midlands.

The company has seen a marked increase in work in recent years. From May 2011 to April 2012 Wilson Field saved more than 1,200 jobs and 100 businesses nationwide as well as returning more than £5.5m to creditors.

Nick Wilson, managing director of Wilson Field, said: “We established the company 11 years ago in Sheffield, where our headquarters are today, and our turnover has increased significantly in the last four years from £2m to a projected £6.25m in 2012.

“We are continuing to buck the industry trend as significant growth was seen before, and into the recession, and there are currently no indicators to suggest any slow-down following another record year.”

Wilson Field is now a consistent finisher in the national top 15 insolvency practitioners list, for corporate appointments, in RSM Tenon’s monthly national table.

The company regularly competes against some of the UK’s biggest players including Grant Thornton, PKF, and Deloitte.

Mr Wilson added: “The business has comprehensive systems in place to ensure compliancy with legal requirements and this structure, coupled with staff flexibility and company investment, allows us to expand and react quickly without any loss of performance.

“We are a fast growing business with exciting plans for the future, including a new financial division and further expansion into the Humber and North East regions.

“Despite our rapid success, we retain a family friendly feel which puts employees and clients at the heart of everything we strive to achieve.”
