BAE confirms merger talks with EADS

BAE Systems confirmed it was in merger talks with European group EADS over a potential tie-up that would affect more than 20,000 workers in the region.In a stock market statement BAE, which employs around 15,000 people in the North West, said its shareholders would have 40% of the merged group, while their EADS counterparts would have 60%."It is contemplated that there would be a unified board and management structure with identical boards and executive committees at each of BAE Systems and EADS," said the group.It added: "BAE Sys......for the full story register now for free or login below...
