Neil Myerson ramps up private client offering

LAW firm Neil Myerson has expanded its private client department with a partnership promotion and the addition of matrimonial expert Jane Tenquist, who is to lead its family law team.

The Altrincham-based practice has also promoted Amanda Freeman to partner and head of private client.

Jane Tenquist, who previously ran her own matrimonial practice, TQ Solicitors, has joined as a senior solicitor. She has significant experience in handling complex financial arrangements and contested children applications following relationship breakdowns.

Amanda Freeman joined Neil Myerson  in January 2011 as head of private client to
work with Morag Sanig (conveyancing) and Virginia Taylor (wills, trusts and probate).

Previously with top tier firm Addleshaw Goddard and more recently Altrincham firm Haworth Holt Bell  she has extensive experience of dealing with a wide range of private client matters including wills and inheritance tax planning, the administration of estates and trusts, powers of attorney and planning for the elderly.

Managing partner Carl Newton said: ““The promotion of Amanda and the appointment of Jane comes after seeing an increasing demand from existing and new clients for family, wills, estate and inheritance tax planning and conveyancing services.

“The addition of a family law service means that with our four experienced specialist private client lawyers we can provide individual clients with a complete legal service that covers all their personal needs.”
