North Wales accountant sees MediaCityUK potential

A NORTH Wales accountancy firm is the latest adviser to open an office at MediaCityUK in Salford Quays.

Hill and Roberts, based in the market towns of Ruthin, Mold and Bala, has chosen Peel Group’s Greenhouse for its first office outside Wales.

Last month Altrincham-based lawyer Myers Lister Price took space at the Digital World Centre across the water from MediaCityUK. Law firms Ralli and JMW are already based in the area.

The 60-year-old business, which has a team of 20, says the move will help it to expand its services to small and medium-sized businesses.

The firm’s Glyn Jelley said: “We earmarked the Greenhouse as a unique set up in the region, which gives fledgling businesses and SMEs across a variety of industries an environment to grow.

“Since this is our area of expertise, it gives us a golden opportunity to help our business neighbours reach their potential by assisting them to become as tax efficient and profitable as possible.”

Stephen Wild, Managing Director of MediaCityUK added: “This is a major move for a business like Hill and Roberts and great testimony to the reputation that The Greenhouse is the place for independent enterprises to thrive. Their presence will complement the variety of enterprises that are now based here.”
