Carlsberg drops pier petition

BREWING giant Carlsberg UK has withdrawn a winding up order it issued against a Blackpool pier.Last month Northampton-based Carlsberg issued a petition against Northern Victorian Pier Ltd, the owner of the town's North Pier which opened in 1863.The papers claimed Carlsberg was a creditor of the pier which has several bars.But Carlsberg told TheBusinessDesk.com an agreement had been reached so the firm decided not to proceed.The......for the full story register now for free or login below...
