Engineering supplier Burdens in administration

BURDENS, a major supplier to the engineering sector, has fallen into administration.Three partners from the Manchester office of Duff & Phelps, the insolvency practice, have been appointed to the long-standing group, which was founded in the 1920s and is headquartered in Bristol.Last month the company sold 22 of its 38 branches to Wolseley plc.
