Strong growth continues at TheEword

ONLINE marketing agency theEword has reported a record year for revenue, with strong growth in client and staff numbers.

The Trafford Park, Manchester-based company, a specialist in search engine optimisation, saw turnover rise 75% from to £2.45m in the year to the end of April.

The SEO agency, added 20 new clients during the year, including contracting specialist Parasol Group, home furnishings group Trendsetter and Manchester law firm Ralli.

It has found considerable success in the legal sector, and in the last quarter has added Linder Myers, Sheldon Davidson, Roberts Jackson and Orbis Solicitors to its rosta.
 
Staff numbers have risen by six to 27 in the last year and are expected to top 30 early in the new year.

Co-founder and chief executive Al Mackin says sales targets for 2012 have already been exceeded by 8%

He said: “This has been one of the most exciting years in the history of our business.

“As we enter 2013 with a fantastic team and a strong client base – an ever growing number of North West businesses are putting their trust in to us.”
