ANGELA Spindler, the former Asda and Debenhams  executive, currently running Burnley-based retailer The Original Factory Shop, has been named as the new CEO of multi-channel home shopping group N Brown.Mrs Spindler will succeed Alan White on July 1, becoming the first woman to lead the FTSE 25o, Manchester-based business.

Other strong contenders for the role included long-serving group finance director Dean Moore.
