Appointments: Perspective Financial, Fircroft, Suttons, CBRE and more

WILMSLOW-based financial advisiory company Perspective Financial Group  has promoted two managers to director- and also created a new operational board.

David Hesketh, previously group M&A manager, has become M&A director, while Julie Hepworth has been appointed group regulatory director.

Both will join the new operational board which comprises managing director Damian Keeling, financial director, Phil Carr, operations director Peter Craddock and group practice director, Ian Wilkinson.

Mr Craddock said: “We are pleased to announce promotions for both David and Julie to operational board level.  The purpose of the new operational board is to lead the strategic direction and planning of Perspective over the years ahead.

“Across Perspective it is always our preference to promote from within where possible in order that we retain a consistency of approach – we believe this ultimately leads to consistent support for our offices and a consistent service to our clients.”

CHESHIRE  bulk logistics provider Suttons Group has boosted its team in the Americas with the appointment of Douglas Bunch, as vice president Americas, Suttons International N.A. Inc.  

Mr Bunch joins Suttons International from Kuehne + Nagel where he was director of key account development – Chemicals. Prior to that, he worked for Agility for 10 years in a number of senior positions.

He is based at Suttons’ New Jersey office, where he is responsible for business development and growing Sutton’s logistics services business across the USA and South America.

He said: “It’s a really exciting time to be joining the group.Suttons Group has grown 40% in the last two years, and I am committed to ensuring Suttons America plays a key role in the continuation of that growth as well as expanding our other product lines in the Americas.”

WARRINGTON-based technical recruiter Fircroft Engineering Services has appointed Philip Gore-Randall as a non-executive director.
 
Gore-Randall started his career at professional services firm Andersen, working his way up to UK managing partner, before becoming global chief operating officer at Andersen Worldwide in 2001.
 
He has previously held positions at the UK arm of insurance broker Aon, leading a major restructuring of the business, and recently took on the roles of senior adviser to Middle Eastern oil and gas services business, Renaissance Services SAOG, and to Alvarez and Marsal, the global professional services firm.
 
He was chairman of Environmental Resources Management (ERM) from 2010 to 2011 when it was backed by private equity, and he served as chief operating officer on the board of HBOS from 2007 to 2009 managing its integration into Lloyds Banking Group.
 
In June 2012, Equistone supported the £140m MBO of Warrington-based Fircroft.

PROPERTY agent CBRE has appointed Bill Godwin as regional operations director in its Northern team.

Godwin has relocated from Bristol where he worked on CBRE’s South West and Midlands team and is now based in the firm’s Manchester office. 

He will head up the facilities management arm of the Northern property and asset management division, managing a team of 108 on-site staff, and 12 facility managers.

John Lea, senior director, said: “Bill’s new position within the company is part of a strategic internal restructure.  The property and asset management sector of the business has grown steadily over the last year and Bill’s 20 years of experience in customer service excellence and unique skills will mean that he will play a pivotal role in the anticipated future growth of the company.”

WARRINGTON housebuilder Arley Homes has made two appointments.

Louise Pilkington has joined as a graduate land buyer while Gill Duddy has become a sales adviser.

Pilkington will work with land agents and owners, whilst conducting market research and site assessments. Duddy, based at Arley’s Fairfax Green development in Nantwich, will be responsible for handling customer purchases.

Managning director John Cosgrave said: “Both Louise and Gill’s appointments will play an important role in ensuring the strength and growth of Arley Homes continues.”
