NW Business Masters – Winner RedX says ‘go for it’
YOUNG businesses which have made a flying start to commercial life are being urged to enter The North West Business Masters – TheBusinessDesk.com’s unique awards programme.
The North West Newcomer is one of just six awards which make up the Masters, recognises the achievements of companies which are less than three years old.
Liverpool-based biomedical company Redx Pharma won the 2012 title, and has continued to see strong growth since its success last year, and has sealed a major order with an Indian group .
Dr Neil Murray, founder and chief executive of Redx, which in the last two years has created more than 150 skilled jobs, said participating in awards can have some major business benefits.

Winners will be unveiled at a high profile lunch-time event on April 25 at the Lowry Hotel.
As well as the Newcomer award, there are five other categories, all showcasing business excellence in the region. Three contenders will be shortlisted per category.
They are :

North West Innovator: Most creative product, idea or original business thinking
North West Exporter: Recognising outstanding success in international markets
North West Manufacturer: The company leading the way in this critical sector
