Care home promises 80 jobs

THE developers behind a new care home near St Helens say it will create 80 jobs.

Cheadle Hulme-based CareConcepts and Ormskirk-based Primesite Developments say the £4.5m Madison Court home in Parr will open in the spring and cater for 66 people with dementia.

Martin Clark, managing director of CareConcepts, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to build on our current provision in Manchester and Warrington which will increase our current places from 138 to 315 by March 2014.

“We are committed to ensuing older people can access excellent care in modern purpose built accommodation and this partnership will enable us to expand the range of services we can offer.”

Kerry Tomlinson, director of Primesite Developments, said: “Our initial research showed a big demand for care facilities in the area. Our good working relationship with CareConcepts has proven to be an asset in the delivery of our premier care home scheme.”

CareConcepts and Primesite Developments are also on site delivering Carriage Grove, a 66-place care home in Bootle, due to open in spring 2014, and Cleaver Court, a 45-place care home in Heswall, Wirral.
