Care UK picks up supported living specialist

LIVING Ambitions, which offers supported living services to people in Salford and Lancashire, has been sold to an Essex-based operator.

Care UK, based in Colchester, has bought the business for an undisclosed sum from owner Peter Watson.

It caters for around 50 adults with learning disabilities living in 25 different locations. The company began life as part of the Watson Healthcare Group.

Care UK spokesperson Libby Eastley said: “We were particularly impressed by the strong emphasis that the Living Ambitions team places on personalised, compassionate care.  

“It matches our dedication to designing community based care pathways that enable people to reach their full potential and to lead rewarding, fulfilled lives. We have been very impressed with the employees that we’ve met so far and I would like to welcome them into the Care UK family.”
