Karim launches CIBO in Didsbury

LEISURE entrepreneur Adam Karim, co-founder of Manchester’s Rosso restaurant with footballer Rio Ferdinand, has launched a new dining concept in Didsbury.

Mr Karim has launched Italian-tapas- style CIBO in the affluent suburb on the site of the former La Tasca restaurant on Warburton Street.

CIBO, which specialises in fresh Northern Italian food and also offers a cocktail bar and late lounge.

Mr Karim, who is also a director of Manchester city centre restaurant Don Giovannis, was advised on the launch by the licensing team at Manchester law firm Kuits.

He said: “I have worked with Kuits in the past, they are extremely efficient and made the transition as smooth as possible. I am very excited for the future of CIBO and we look forward to people enjoying what we have to offer.”

Partner Anthony Lyons and Ray Smith  advised on the premises licence and lease respectively.
