GB Group alive to international growth opportunities

GB Group, the acquisitive Chester-based company providing identity verification services to businesses, is confident of further growth, chairman David Rasche said.

Addressing investors at GB’s annual meeting Mr Rasche said the business had made a “strong start” to the current financial year amid growing demand for online identity intelligence services with international capabilities.

“The increasing success that we have seen within our own domestic market provides us with a strong platform to exploit the international demand for our solutions.  

“As reported in our annual results our focus for the year ahead will continue to be on making business easier and safer for our clients by investing in our international verification network (ID3global) and widening our capabilities in other areas to strengthen our position in this significant global market.”

He said the board was pleased with the progress so far this year and “remains confident that GBGroup is able to deliver a performance in line with current market expectations”.

GB will announce its half year results for the six months to the end of September in late November.
