After the completion of a two week course at Edge Hill University in Lancashire, the ELITES team, amde up for of LFC coaches and LSBF management academics will take the ‘Liverpool Way’ to aspiring leaders across the world.

The first stop of the tour is Aalborg in Denmark, for two weeks starting on September 2, followed in October by four weeks in various locations around South Africa. Plans are also in place to travel to Japan in November.

The course aims to demonstrate the transferable skills that sport coaching can bring to any leader in any business. LFC legends Alan Kennedy and Ian Rush were special guest speakers at the Academy in June.

Ian Rush said “The collaboration between Liverpool FC and London School of Business & Finance to develop the ELITES programme is like nothing I’ve come across before. The programmes are a great opportunity for participants to develop and learn more about business and management through football tactics, practices and philosophies”.
