The Partington Shopping Centre scheme has won support from the Growing Places fund

PEEL is planning to start work on a shopping centre in Trafford after securing a loan from the Greater Manchester Growing Places Fund.A cash flow loan has been committed by the fund which was set up to invest in infrastructure projects and support economic growth.It will be used to start construction of Partington Shopping Centre which was first granted planning permission in 2008 but stalled.The 17,000 sq ft centre will have nine retail units and will be anchored by Tesco and Heron Frozen Food.
