Outsourcery sells mobile business

CLOUD computing company Outsourcery has sold a small mobile phone distribution business for an undisclosed sum.

In a stock market statement the Manchester-based company, led by Dragons’ Den investor Piers Linney, said it had been sold to an unnamed UK mobile services operator.

The division was the last part of the group’s mobile operations, the majority of which was sold for £15m in 2011.

Outsoucery has since focused on cloud computing services and works with major bluechips including Vodafone, Virgin Media Business, BT, HP and Atos to enable these and other partners to deliver cloud services to their end-customers.

It said: “Revenues for the mobile distribution business had been separately accounted for by the group. The sale will have no material impact on working capital.”

Outsourcery floated on the Alternative Investment Market in May and has around 120 staff in Manchester, Leicester and London.
