Catering Academy tucks into new contracts

CONTRACT caterer Catering Academy, which has a regional office in Warrington, has announced a host of contract wins, worth £18m over the next three years.

The company, whose 50 North West customers include the University of Bolton and Manchester Science Parks, is beginning 16 new contracts this month. The additional revenue will take Team Academy’s annual turnover close to £35m.

Manchester-born founder director, Kevin Cannon, said: “Catering Academy has been able to consistently innovate and drive competitive solutions without compromising on the quality of our products, service and local support structures.”
 
The company currently operates more than 140 contracts across the education, corporate and healthcare sectors, employing 1,500 people nationwide.

One of its original clients after it was launched in 2004 by Mr Cannon and
colleagues Louise Wymer and Stacey Rose, was Cheshire Police.
