Profits top £1m after record year for fresh Group

FRESH Group, which works for major corporates such as Marks & Spencer and Santander to deliver live events and exhibitions, has reported a record year.

Revenue at the Cheadle-based agency, which also provides design, video, PR and digital services, rose 22% to £13.62n in the year to the end of September and profits rose 26% from £832,000 to £1.05m.

Signs are positive for 2014, with turnover projections for the next financial year of £17m – around half is already confirmed.

The 88-strong company, founded in 2004, attributed its strong performance to developing existing client relationships and significant new business wins.

Finance director Antony Wilson said, “These figures are particularly pleasing as the upward trend continues. fresh has achieved consistent and controlled growth over the last four years and has clear visibility of the same trend continuing for the foreseeable future.”

Managing director Patrick Howells added, “It’s been another fantastic year of achievement for fresh. We couldn’t have asked for a more positive start to our 10th year of trading.

“With such a high level of business already confirmed at the start of the financial year, we are looking forward to record turnover and profit for a fifth year running.”
