Liverpool wants new company to promote gay quarter

LIVERPOOL City Council is planning to launch a new company to promote the development of the city's gay quarter.The council’s cabinet is being asked to approve the formation of a community interest company for the Stanley Street area.The plan is for the company to give a voice to local traders and generate income from grant funding and other sources which the council said would not be otherwise possible.Councillor Nick Small, cabinet member for employment, enterprise and skills, said: "The Stanley Street Quarter has been a su......for the full story register now for free or login below...
