Mark Blakemore joins law firm BLM as FD

MARK Blakemore, previously regional head of accountancy firm Baker Tilly has landed a key role with national law firm Berrymans Lace Mawer.

Mr Blakemore has joined the firm, which has eight offices nationwide, including Liverpool and Manchester, as national director of finance.

After leaving Baker Tilly last year Mr Blakemore was executive director of UCG, a holding company for a group of international firms providing advisory services to assist e-commerce businesses to successfully expand their business on a global scale.

His is one of three senior leadership team hires at BLM. The firm has also appointed Lee Grunnell as its business development director and Louise McCarthy-Teague as human resources director and training director.
