In Brief: James Briggs; Clayton Park Bakery; Bubble Jobs

CHESHIRE-based digital jobs board Bubble Jobs advertised 55,000 jobs last year, with 7,000 in the North West.

The Tarporley business, which was set up in 2011, handled ads for recruiters and major brands such as Accenture, Bupa and McCann.

The site said it attracted more than a million visitors in 2013 and more than 13.5 million page views.

Managing Director Adam Butwilowski said: “Last year, the European Commission predicted that there will be 900,000 IT-related vacancies by 2015 with the number of ‘digital jobs’ growing by about 100,000 every year. It’s fair to say that quite a few of those will be advertised on Bubble.”

ACCRINGTON baker Clayton Park Bakery is re-branding its product range to reflect its Lancashire heritage.

The packaging also contains extra information on allergens in line with new EU regulations that will come into force in December.

Managing director Barry Thomas said: “We are excited by the new packaging and hope it will be well received and instantly recognisable for our customers. We wanted the illustration to reflect the fact that our products are craft-baked by our own dedicated team of bakers on our premises across two specialist bakeries in East Lancashire.”

Clayton Park Bakery was set up in 1995 and employs over 100 people.
