Rescue may allay deposit fears

THE government's bank rescue could go some way to reassure cash rich businesses over the safety of their deposits.
Under the terms of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) businesses only qualify for the same £50,000 guarantee as savers.
This has left firms with large deposits fear for the security of their cash reserves following high profile bank collapses and continued turmoil in the markets.
