Pochin lures SIRA to North Wales

PRODUCT approval firm SIRA Test and Certification has taken 27,000 sq ft at Hawarden Business Park, Flintshire, near Chester.

SIRA, which is owned by US-based CSA International, plans to create 50 jobs over the next five years, moving from a site at Eccleston, near Chester.

Hawarden Business Park is being developed through a partnership between UK Land & Property, Pochin, and in conjunction with the Welsh Assembly Government. Sira’s site should be finished by 2015.

Bob Nicholson, director of Pochin Property, said: “The relocation of SIRA to the business park is an important next step in the growth of the enterprise zone – it provides prestige, expertise and investment in the local community.

“We are now working hard with our agents and the local council so that we can secure further new business and jobs at Hawarden, the enterprise zone and North Wales in the near future.”
