Ryanair expands Manchester winter schedule

RYANAIR, the low-cost airline, has announced an expanded winter schedule from Manchester Airport.

The Irish carrier is adding four new routes – Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Lisbon and Fuerteventura – for the winter service which goes on sale on Wednesday and begins in November.

The airline is also upping the frequency of its flights to Rome, Riga and Madrid, which will take the weekly total from 214 to 226 to 23 destinations.

Ryanair says this will deliver more than  2.3 million  customers per year, supporting 2,300 on-site jobs at Manchester Airport.

Spokeswoman Maria Macken said the airline has recently introduced a number of customer service improvements and innovations, such as an improved website, quiet flights and allocated seats.

“With a new smartphone app, and family and business products coming soon Ryanair continues to deliver so much more than just the lowest fares,” she added.
