Northwich traders back Cheshire’s first BID
TRADERS in Northwich have voted for a retail business improvement district (BID), the first in Cheshire.
They will pay a levy on top of their rates over the next five years which will fund £1.25m of town centre improvements and promotional initiatives.
The organisers say this will transform Northwich, making it a "destination of choice for shoppers".
