Alex Russell

PROPERTY agent Alex Russell is to leave CBRE in the autumn to join the family business, Property Alliance Group.

At PAG, which is owned by his father David Russell, he will focus on the existing £240m portfolio and identify new development and investment opportunities.

He is an office agency director at CBRE and has worked on schemes such as Belvedere, 3 Hardman Square, Towers, Airport City and the Bruntwood portfolio.

Mr Russell will be replaced by Mark Worthington who is moving over from CBRE’s Liverpol office.

He said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my years at CBRE working as part of a very good team and I will be sad to leave but I believe that this is an opportune time to join the team at Alliance and be a part of this exciting new chapter. I am looking forward to drawing on my experience and all the relationships I have built over the last nine years to bring further success to the company and am eager to get going.”

PAG chairman David Russell said: “Alex joins us at an exciting time for the business as we roll out an £80m investment strategy over the next two years, and continue to work with our JV fund partners and close contacts across the region in all sectors. Alex has assimilated excellent market knowledge and experience and I’m sure he will enjoy the challenge of his new role at Alliance.“
