Lookers sells Bentley dealership

MANCHESTER car dealership Lookers has sold a Bentley showroom in North London for an undisclosed sum.

Lookers acquired Bentley Hadley Green as part of its £33.6m acquisition of Colbornes in March.

It has been bought by the luxury car group HR Owen as part of an expansion plan.

It said it planned to “fully integrate” the business into its existing Bentley operation which includes Jack Barclay, Bentley Surrey, Bentley Berkshire and Bentley Cheltenham.

Paul Westaway, divisional director, said: “I am delighted with this next step in the group’s growth plans. Hadley Green will improve our presence in North London and surrounding areas.”
