LIVERPOOL marketing and communications agency Kenyon Fraser has acquired design firm Gavin and Page.

LIVERPOOL marketing and communications agency Kenyon Fraser has acquired design firm Gavin and Page.

The Liverpool advertising agency has been working with regional, national and international clients since 1981.

It was founded by Eric Page and John Gavin, and the current managing director is Peter Cross. All three are joining Kenyon Fraser.

PELICAN Communications has won the National Caravan Council (NCC) as a client.

It has been hired to generate publicity and provide strategic support for two of NCC’s consumer shows – the Motorhome & Caravan Show and the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show.

The Manchester-based agency will promote the shows nationally and regionally, with a focus on driving ticket sales and attracting more consumers with the aim of gaining a greater market share.

Michael Bennett, managing director of Pelican, said: “The camping and caravan markets are thriving and we will enjoy working with NCC on their next two major industry shows.”

A social enterprise designed to help young people enter the marketing industry has received a strong response from people wishing to enter its debut programme.

Agent Academy CIC, launched by Agent Marketing, is searching for young people aged 16-25 from the Liverpool area to take part in a 10-week programme that aims to teach young people about marketing.

Managing director of Agent Marketing, Paul Corcoran, said: “The response to the programme has been incredible – we’ve been inundated with enquires and applications, all of which are being carefully considered by our team. Liverpool’s young people have just over a week to submit their final applications in order to be considered for our flagship programme. I wish all applicants the very best of luck!”
