Property briefs: Time lapse firm expands, APS, Lakes hotel sold

A COMPANY that specialises in time lapse photography of regeneration projects is opening a North West office.

Regenology has taken a 1,000 sq ft unit on the Clayhill Business Park in Neston where it plans to create a “small number of jobs”.

The eight-year-old firm, which has offices in London and Bedford, says it has time-lapse cameras on some of the biggest regeneration and construction projects in the UK.

Managing director Richard Overton said: “We have grown steadily over the past eight years, but we believe now is the right time to take the business to the next level. More than 90% of our work is regeneration and construction focussed and, until now, the vast majority of our clients have been in London and the South. The opening of our North West office will enable us to continue developing some good relationships in the region and allow us to become a genuinely UK-wide business.”

EVENTS specialist APS has taken 11,000 sq ft at Bruntwood’s Abney Hall in Cheadle, relocating 29 staff from West Didsbury.

Founded in 1982, APS started with a small studio in Manchester city centre and now specialises in working with the healthcare industry.

Sharon Johnson, head of regional sales at Bruntwood: “We’re really pleased to have APS move into Abney Hall and have the building back in use. Our transformation isn’t complete and we hope to have more businesses joining APS in the autumn. It’s a unique building. Set in beautiful parkland, it has a countryside feeling whilst benefiting from having Cheadle High Street on the doorstep.”
