Equilibrium beats investment targets

WILMSLOW-based Equilibrium Asset Management says it has hit a £4m turnover target after surpassing its goal for new assets under management.

The firm, which manages £385m of assets for nearly 600 clients in the region, set out out to secure £65m of assets to manage over the past year but succeeded in pulling in £80m.

Managing partner Colin Lawson said: “Never in my wildest dreams when I set up Equilibrium in my back bedroom 19 years ago did I ever imagine we would be overseeing £385m worth of assets for a client base of 580.

“I put our success down to good old fashioned business values and our fantastic team of staff, which has grown by a third in the past 12 months. Our award winning service is based on transparency and providing a genuinely personalised management service which is especially suited to investors with portfolios worth £1m plus.

“This approach has helped us to deliver some impressive returns for our clients and strengthen our service offering to the region’s high net worth individuals and families.”
