Sir Nigel Knowles becomes chairman of Zeus

ZEUS Capital, the award-winning corporate finance outfit has appointed legal sector heavyweight Sir Nigel Knowles as chairman.

The firm introduced Sir Nigel, who is co-chief executive of international law firm DLA Piper,  to clients and contacts on Thuesday night as it celebrated its move to its new head office at 82 King Street.

Over the last 18 years he has led DLA Piper’s growth from a regional law firm to a global business with a turnover in excess of £1bn and over 4,200 lawyers across 30 countries.
 
Zeus, which has offices in London and Birmingham, was a major winner at the inaugural North West Rainmaker Awards after raising moe than  £950m on public markets for corporate clients in the last 15 months.

In H1 2014, Dealogic ranked Zeus Capital the leading IPO fundraiser for AIM companies in the UK, while Thomson Reuters ranked Zeus among the top 20 globally.
